The Most Dangerous....

...recipe in the world.
That was the subject of an email I recently sent to Andi and a few friends. The replies I got back were ....um, varied, to say the least. They ranged from "You're awesome!" to "You are evil."
Now, I'll admit to having aquired (quite by mistake, I assure you) a reputation for living just a little left of living right, but "evil"? Why, even Andi, yes our beloved Andi, went so far as to question, "....whether you hate us, or love us." Now, I've had a *few* friends in my lifetime and so, I'm fairly sure that my act of *kindness* and *friendship* should have garnered, well, something......else. So, here's what I'm going to do: I'll let y'all decide. Is this *love* or *hate*?
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (This can serve 2 - if you feel like sharing.)
So, now I leave it up to you guys.....is this love or is it hate?
I say, if it's chocolate, it's gotta be love.

It is evil dressed up in chocolatey goodness. I just tried it! I totally added chocolate chips (if I'm going to bad, I might as well be VERY bad!) I also added a teaspoon of eggnog and it was almost sinfully delicious. Totally worth the extra run tomorrow! THANKS!!! =)

This all about love. Nothing more or less. I am making it tonight.

My husband and I are eating some right now! I did tweak the recipe somewhat, using soymilk in place of the milk to accommodate my dairy allergy and Kahlua in place of one of the tablespoons of soymilk to accommodate my love of Kahlua. ;-) A sprinkle of cinnamon in the batter and a drizzle of chocolate syrup on the finished product made it pretty darn tasty.

If I had this receipe when my husband was deployed, I would have used it entirely too often....
Love or hate? I'm still on the fence. I'll let my thighs decide....
