Vote Today for Your 2017 Branch Military Spouse of the Year

The field of the 2017 Armed Forces Insurance Military Spouse of the Year nominees has narrowed from nearly 500 spouses to only 18, and today is the only day you can weigh in on who moves forward from here.

With three spouses remaining from each branch -- Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard -- this round of voting will determine who makes it to the final 6, and earns the title of branch level winner.

Much like a presidential election, it doesn't all come down to the popular vote. Rather, that's just one piece of the puzzle. The highest derived score from the internet vote accounts for 25 percent plus input from a Judge Advisory Panel (guest judges) also weighing in at 25 percent, and finally, the MSOY panel (consisting of representatives from Victory Media, Armed Forces Insurance and precious MSOY winners) holds a hefty 50 percent of the sway.

This is great, in that the person with the most Twitter followers isn't guaranteed a victory.

Instead, spouses are voted upon based on their platforms, their previous work for and outreach to our military families and what they hope to achieve with the title "Military Spouse of the Year."

There are some truly incredible spouses nominated this year, and as the ultimate winner will be representing every one of us, it's important you weigh in! Only one vote per IP address is allowed, and this is your last chance to participate until the national vote, March 2. Voting for the branch level spouse is only open today, so be sure your voice is heard.  Vote here, now.
