Free is good...

I know it's short notice, but if you are going to be in the Palm Beach Gardens, FL, area Labor Day weekend, you might want to change your accommodations.  Why?  Because the PGA National Resort and Spa is offering 1-3 nights of  FREE rooms to active military.  In their words:

Just a little note about how wonderful these people are. We booked reservations to take advantage of this deal (or a deal similar to this one) last year. And wouldn't you know it, my husband had to go TDY and I had to cancel. When I called to cancel, the lady asked me why I was canceling and I told her that we had booked this under the military special but ironically "duty called," and we couldn't make it. I had also made a spa reservation (huge discount for military) and golf reservation. I told her I needed to call and cancel the golf reservation and spa reservation. She said, "Honey, I'll take care of all of that for you, don't you worry about it. And thank your husband for us."

They were sooooo nice. It's wonderful when people do these kinds of things for military families.
