SpouseBUZZ Heads to Camp Pendleton
August 6, 2009|
Our third and final stop of the 2009 SpouseBUZZ LIVE tour will take us to sunny, southern California. We'll be at Camp Pendleton on September 26. This event, once reserved for Pendleton spouses only, has been opened to all milspouses, regardless of where you live. We were able to secure a larger venue on base, so there's plenty of room. San Diego spouses, come on down! For details on the event, and to register (it's free), click here. We hope to see a lot of you in September.
If you're wondering what these events are all about, here's a brief video clip taken at the Hill AFB event in May.
We're in the process of deciding 2010 tour dates/locations and wanted to remind you that we do accept requests to bring the program to military installations. Two of our three stops in 2009 were at the official invitation of the hosting installation. We've received two invitations for 2010 and we're happy to entertain all official requests, so if you want to see SpouseBUZZ LIVE at your installation, let us know.

YAY!!
Now I can get my Guard Wife bringing the funny fix any time I want!
I hope it is a great event and lots of area spouses make the trip!

Oh, so happy! Now I can relive the funny and the advice! I had such a great time at HAFB Spouse Buzz.

I wish you guys would come out to NG/Reserve country. We need support, too. Lots of us don't live near an AD installation and we need to be around people who get it. Is this a possibility?

It looks like a great event. Can someone work with military.com to make the registration page secure? I think that spouses providing personal info and relating that to their spouses unit should be over a secure connection.
Thanks!

I'm sad because that video is so funny and we leave for a new duty station from Pendleton two days before the event will be at Pendleton. But that's the way it is. :)

Mallallory - We're sorry you won't be there!
NG Wife, it's always a little harder with National Guard because they're more spread out and not in a concentrated area, which makes it more difficult to get everyone together because some people will have to travel long distances no matter where the location may be and they may not opt to come for that reason. We want to get to areas where there is a high concentration of military spouses, but you're right, NG/Reserve spouses do need support and we'll certainly look hard at all opportunities to bring the program to them, too. We'd love to find a creative solution, so suggestions are welcome!
