Hampton Roads, Here We Come....

We had a blast at Hampton Roads last year. Area milspouses were robbed because Hurricane Hannah decided to visit the same day of our LIVE event. Even with the high winds and torrential rain, 80 out of 700 registrants decided to show up. Some driving as much as 200 miles to attend. Now that's dedication.
On April 4, 2009, we're making Hampton Roads our first stop on the 2009 SpouseBUZZ LIVE tour. We're hoping for better weather this time.... Mark your calendars, more information will follow in the next couple of weeks.

Yay! I get to go again. I had a blast the last time even thought it was quite blustery.

I signed up for last year...but...
Had to move out of the area very unexpectedly...Um passed out on my husband's ship from the deployment changearoo galore the Command put us through. The poor Corpsmen had to run an IV and try to find a baby's heartbeat with technology from the Vietnam era (I swear.)
Then DH got 2 days off right before deployment as they were calling everyone back from leave.
Would love to come to the one in April...we shall see!

yay! i didn't get to go last fall because i headed "back home" for a friend's wedding that week. this time, i'll be about 37 weeks pregnant, but i'm already planning to be there!

I missed last year because of the hurricane, but I'm hoping to make it this year. Might have to round up some other spouses living on the south end of the east coast and make it a road trip. :)

Loquita - that's great! Look forward to meeting you. It makes for a fun "girls weekend." We usually have bands of gals who travel to these events and make a weekend of it.
