Servicemembers and Families Asked to Participate in Health System Poll
The U.S. Department of Defense Military Health System is asking Servicemembers and their families to take the online Military Health System Poll. The poll is designed to help the DoD understand the areas within the health system in need of improvement. To participate, go here.

Organizations Partner to Support Military Families
Humana Military Healthcare Services and ValueOptions has partnered with Give an Hour to provide military families with behavioral healthcare. Parents, siblings, and unmarried partners are not eligible for behavioral healthcare through TRICARE. Give an Hour will fill that gap by providing behavioral healthcare services to those family members. I also dont go to MTFs currently for my healthcare,so maybe that is why Im not up on the lingo...

USW- sorry you had trouble with the abbreviations.
Here is a list:
MTF (military treatment facility)
MHS (military health system)
PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome)
TBI (traumatic brain injury)
AHLTA (Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application, it is the military's electronic health record system, EHR)
