Free Welcome Home Signs
July 4, 2008|
Army Blogger Wife just alerted me to the free 3' x 6' Welcome Home signs. The one I just ordered is normally sold for $57.21, and all I paid was $7.31 for shipping and tax.
The company, BuildaSign.com, has offered to give away 10,000 signs - so get over there and order one while they're still available!
(And Happy Independence Day!)

This is SO cool! I would've loved to have one of these five months ago!

OMG, I gotta get one! What a great offer! Too bad I'm away from my home computer and I don't have pictures of him readily available!

Thank you so much for this link! This is why I love this site so much.
One of my best friends is pregnant and in true military style her hubby is deployed. I told her about the free signs and she made a heart-wrenching, wonderfully sweet one from the daughter that will be four months old when he finally returns. A combination of sadness and hormones led her to call me with tears to thank me. But it was thanks to spousebuzz! You made her day and he'll be so excited to see it when he finally gets to meet his daughter!

Thank you! It is really great that they are doing this. My husband is due back in 2-3 weeks so I cannot wait to get this!!

Is there a promo code? It is trying to charge me the full amount!
Posted by: Vypergirl | 07/05/2008 at 22:08
This is a great idea, but maybe something didn't work when I tried. They wanted to charge me over $11 for shipping. Maybe it's just me being pesimistic, but I think that is taking advantage of me and other military.

Vypergirl,
Go ahead and go to the checkout. You don't need a promo code; it will discount it for you.
NC Army Wife,
When I went to check out, it wanted to charge me $10 for tax. I went ahead and processed it because it was still pretty cheap (considering the regular price), and it ended up only charging me 56 cents for tax (I checked my bank account online just to be sure).
Sounds like they have a few glitches in their system?

When I did mine online it kept saying 19 something. So I called and they said there is a glitch in the system. The promo code is soldiersign. Or you can call and they will fix it for you. My sign kept coming up as $69 instead of the $57 price. Only paid $7.63.

What a great offer! I had trouble at first but thanks to Crystal on here giving me the promo code I only paid 21.10 for the shipping costs and the rest was free! That's so great that this company is doing this and I can't wait to get my sign!

Thanks! I passed this info on to my FRG leader so that she could pass it on to the other spouses and she thought it was great! I ordered mine, and it only came to $10.03 total.
