Big Girl Panties? Big Girl Bag!!!!

I lost my big girl panties a couple of weeks ago or maybe I threw them away.  In any event, I haven't been wearing them lately.

Today, I put them back on.  I dealt with an issue that had been bothering me for the past couple of days and then I went to breakfast with a good friend (Thanks, Norma!!  It was just what the doctor ordered!!)

And then I thought,"If I have to wear the big girl panties, I should upgrade my bag too!!"

When LCPL Dark Prince deployed to Iraq, I bought a Jane Wayne bag.   This Jane Wayne bag.  Both Lancelot and the Dark Prince were suitably horrified.  I believe the word "abomination" was muttered under someone's breath.  How can you not love it though?  It's got attitude!!!  Unfortunately, it's just a little too small for me to use as an everyday bag. 

The base exchange carried the perfect upgrade.  I love it!!  I even love the description "She's large and in charge".  Urrahh!!!!  Wait until Lancelot sees it.  I'm positive he'll love it as much as I do.

Wow, cool! I didn't know they finally branched out into ACU!

I'm a sewer, so I made my own ACU bag (with another in the works), but I love looking at everyone else's work and getting inspiration! Believe it or not, my husband was actually impressed by my skills and craftsmanship!

I've found that women either love them or hate them. As for the men, pfft! Who cares! ;)

This totally reminds me of a friend I had when we were stationed in Heidelberg who recycled her husband's BDUs when the ACUs came out! She made bedroom curtains for her son!

Cute, I love it! But my purses that I currently carry were bought for me by my husband when he took me to a Gun Show. He doesn't invite me to go with him very often because we spend soooo much more on stuff for me at Gun Shows I have gotten: Candles, Russian Doll Sets, Dolls, Fleece Jackets, Fleece Blankets, Hair scarfs, extra yellow ribbons, jewelry and of course purses. When my friends ask me about many of these items and I tell them I got them at the Gun Show they are amazed!
