Drowning in Lists

As you know, the SpouseBUZZ authors are a traveling group this summer. ArmyWifeToddlerMom is quickly closing in on moving day, Andi is preparing to pack up for warmer climates, and the Sea Family has 9 days until the packers arrive. Not that I'm counting.
As the days get nearer, the number of lists I'm managing is getting longer. Food that needs to be eaten, things that I need to borrow from the neighbors, things I need to return to the neighbors, phone calls that need to be made, people I need to see, food that can be prepared with nearly no equipment, things that I want to take in the car. The notebook is filling up awfully fast.
At least you have lists. I'm still in the process of figuring out which lists I need to make. You're way ahead of me....

I have lost the notebook my lists are in.....so I began a new list on my computer, so unless I lose my computer I guess I am safe this time. The list is getting really long and when it has things like call gas company and connect phone, disconnect cable....I feel so overwhelmed....I think I am in denial because my house looks nothing like a home about to be packed up and relocated 1500 miles from here....we are t-minus 16 days and counting until we pull out and head for the new homestead.....which will not officially ours until the 29th of May.....
God Speed to the SpouseBuzz Authors as well as other military families who are also hitting the road to relocate this summer.

Soldier's Wife...I'm sure that you are way more prepared that you think, and I'm sure that it will be just fine. I wish you safe travels and a smooth journey to your new home! (And I hope that it is somewhere near one of this years SpouseBUZZ Live events!)
If it is any consolation, the estimator came out yesterday to figure out how many boxes to bring. He actually had the gall to ask me, "You're going to get this a little more organized before we come, right?" Hmm, maybe so, maybe not. But either way, this stuff is getting packed and moving on.

I need to make more detailed list. We are about 18 days out from moving. Hubby took his permissive TDY now so we can pack our house and live on paper dinnerware and flatware for about a week. We decided to do a DITY move since it would be about a month before we saw our stuff and we are "only going an hour away" per Hubby. I must find a notebook to make many list so I do not kill anyone. :)

You can do it, Reasa! I will pray for everyone to have uneventful moves! You and AWTM will have to report back on your DITY moves.
