I Love This Product
September 25, 2007|
As I mentioned on our last radio program, we're launching a new series here at SpouseBUZZ called, "I love this product." From time to time, we'll be publishing posts that feature products we love, and we'll share with you why we love these products.
I cope better with deployment during winter than I do in the summer. On cold winter days, I wake-up and sometimes I stay in my flannel pajamas all day long. I've learned to enjoy these quiet days. I light the fireplace and settle in for a cozy day of reading, writing and clearing my head. A steaming cup of green tea is always within reach.
I'm not a coffee drinker. I drink green tea from the time I get up in the morning until early evening. A hot mug of green tea soothes my soul. I don't know how to make coffee, a fact that horrifies and embarrasses my mother, especially because my husband is a coffee drinker.
Even though I don't know how to make coffee, my husband and my house guests are always treated to superb coffee. In various flavors too. French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Italian Roast. I can even whip up a latte or a cappuccino or a mochaccino. How can you do that if you don't know how to make coffee, you ask. I have a little help from one of the most amazing products I own:
If I were told that next time I move, I could only take one product from my kitchen, I wouldn't have to think twice - it would definitely be my Flavia machine. It is a dynamo. In a household like mine where one of us is a coffee drinker and the other is a tea/hot chocolate drinker, this is the perfect solution. No more brewing an entire pot of coffee and throwing half of it out. This baby makes one delicious cup at a time.
For three years, I had the SB100 version. This past week I upgraded to the Fusion Station, which makes the frothy drinks. I can't quite figure out why the Fusion costs less than the SB100 because it has more features, but the lower cost is just a bonus for those of you who want to purchase a Flavia machine.
My Flavia machine has been a big hit at all of my parties. If one guest wants House Blend Decaf, another wants Hazelnut and another wants Sumatra, no problem at all. Just pick your pleasure and push the lever down. I think Flavia should pay a commission to me because several of my friends have purchased these machines after seeing how wonderful they are, and sampling the different flavors.
Check out the selections:
Your basic tea, plus my section, the well-being section (my favorite is the Japanese green tea).
Lattes, cappuccinos and mochaccinos
I highly recommend the Flavia system. There's something for everyone. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cappuccino drinkers will find something to love. Put this on your Christmas list or buy it for someone for Christmas. Spouse deployed and a little nervous about getting that perfect gift to you? Send him/her the link and they can order your Christmas gift on-line. Easy as 1-2-3. Plus, when they get back, they'll enjoy it too.
If you get a Flavia system, come back and tell us how you like it.

I would need the FLAVIA® Creation 400 for my house. My three girls and I drink hot tea, they also very much enjoy hot chocolate and then my honey and I are both coffee drinkers. We would have this machine going all the time...lol.

Mo - the SB100 and the Fusion make coffee/tea and hot chocolate, so you wouldn't need the 400.
Mine goes all the time, too. The beauty is that you never have to turn the machine off. Mine has never been turned off or unplugged. They're incredibly durable.

I love Flavia! They used to have a machine in the office I worked in and I was always in front of it making up something, even though I don't drink a whole lot of coffee. I used to make the Chocochinos and they are so good. I might have to get one of these for Christmas, lol!
Oh and you can get commission from selling the machines, after the 10th one they refund you the $130 for yours. It's their Ambassador program, pretty cool.

pauliesgirl77 - That's exactly how I found out about Flavia - we ordered one for our office. The employees loved it, and so did I because I finally had an easy way to make tea. I was in an office full of coffee drinkers. When we got the Flavia machine, all of us were happy.
