I'm sad that they retired the original Birth Control Glasses in basic training.
I liked them. Good memories.

when I was in the Air Force, the BCG's were more like Rayban sunglasses...I thought those were cooler!

You never know, they may bring them back one day. Who would have ever thought we'd be wearing hip-hugger pants and mini skirts again?

I am sure your DH would not mind you requesting he wear a pair on occassion

How can you get rid of the BCG, they were oddly one of the best fitting pair of glasses i have ever owned.

After his eye surgery, hubby refuses to put anything other than WileyX's on his eyes.
But those are pretty darn sexy, too.

Ha, reminds me of when I went in the Army back in '76. I failed the eye test. Went back home, got tested at the Dr.s office. Got new glasses. Went back for another physical the following week, passed the eye test. Got to reception station and they took my new glasses and gave me the ole BCG's. LOL. Still doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm not sure what the hold-up is... maybe they have re-thought their stance on how this is going to actually make the company any money. Or perhaps their lawyers pointed out the liability of providing agents a platform to stick their feet in their mouth. Whatever it is, it's hardly something I'd claim as being "Well done".
